Qualifying Life Events (QLEs) are instances outside of our normal Annual Enrollment period in which you can make changes to your benefits to accommodate a major life change you or your dependents are experiencing.
You must act quickly because you only have a limited amount of time from the date of your life event to make changes. Click on the links below for a reference guide with information about the steps you need to take for some of the most common QLEs.
Birth and Adoption
Elect or change your benefits within 60 days of birth or adoption.
Marriage
Elect or change your benefits within 31 days of marriage date.
Divorce
Elect or change your benefits within 31 days of your divorce date.
